What We Believe

As believers, we hold dear to the grace and mercy of God, the salvation imparted to us through Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit who inspires and guides us in our daily lives. The Trinity of Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. We also believe in the reality of heaven and hell, and the importance of living a life that reflects our faith in God. Through our faith, we find hope, peace, and purpose in this world and the next.

Confessions of Faith

  1. We believe in the scriptures of the King James Bible as verbally and planarly inspired by God and inherent. They are our supreme authority in faith, life, and practice. (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21)

  2. We believe in one sovereign God, existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; John 10:30; Matthew 28:19; Acts 5:3-4; John 15:26; II Corinthians 13:14; I Peter 1:2; John 4: 24)

  3. We believe that Jesus is the Christ and that He was an eternally pre-existent deity. He is eternal, virgin born, God Incarnate, Son of God, coequal with God in every sense, the Savior of mankind, true God and true man, the mediator for believers, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, and in God's time every knee will bow and submission to Him.  (John 1:1,14; Matthew 1: 8-25; Isaiah 7: 4; Colossians 2:9; Isaiah 53:5; I Corinthians 15:3; Revelation 19:16; I Timothy 2:5)

  4. We believe that man was created in the image of God and that man sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is eternal separation from God in Hell. We believe that all human beings are born with A sinful nature.

  5. We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, the perfect and substitutionary sacrifice; And that all who believe by grace through faith in him are justified on the ground of his shed blood.

  6. We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord; In His bodily ascension into Heaven; And in his bodily presence there for us where He acts as High Priest, Advocate, Mediator, and Head of the Church

  7. We believe in the “blessed hope” of the believer, namely, the pre-millennial, personal, bodily, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  8. We believe that salvation is being born again by the Spirit of God by grace through faith; And that it is believing in the heart, and not just in the mind.

  9. We believe that anyone who is truly born again by God's Spirit necessarily experiences repentance, which is a change in heart attitude toward God, turning from sin.

  10. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, both the just and the unjust. We believe in literal Heaven and in literal Hell.

  11. We believe that baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper are the only two ordinances for the church.

  12. We believe that a local New Testament church is a called-out assembly of baptized believers.

  13. We believe Satan (the arch-enemy of God and mankind) is a literal and personal being. He was the agent of the fall of man and as the Prince and power of this world.
